Robin turned to glare at Raven and Terra, raising a brow. "You two are enjoying this, aren't you," he observed dryly, not a hint of a question in his words. He didn't have to ask; it wasn't like they were even attempting to keep it a secret.
At least they could agree on something.
"Yeah, just gonna strangle him," Robin muttered to himself, trying to wipe off the remnants of the mess on his boots on the carpet. Not much luck there. "What does he keep in there?" he asked incredulously, giving a light shake of his head. He couldn't imagine having a room that messy. Keeping a clean room had been practically beaten into him; no matter what anyone said, Alfred could be pretty damn scary when he wanted to be.
Well, he'd been planning on at least introducing the clothing to Mowgli before dragging him out of the room for modesty's sake, but apparently Raven and Terra were going to have a few laughs no matter what he did. "Yes, clothes for Mowgli," Robin sighed, plucking up the clothing in one hand and motioning for the boy to follow with the other. "Come on."
He headed back for the door, giving his teammates a look that made his intentions for revenge perfectly clear.

Mowgli followed Robin out of the room, curious as to what he was to do with these 'clothes'.
He saw Robin look back at the two girls and give them a look that Mowgli had seen once before: when the hunter had become jealous of the fact that Mowgli was a better hunter than he.
Mowgli didn't know quite what to do: on the one hand, he had seen that look lead to trouble, but on the other hand, Robin did not seem as hostile as the hunter had been.
So, Mowgli elected to do nothing. At least, for now.

Starfire got up after an hour of asking herself why she wanted to get up that early. Enough struggling she thought, as the red-headed alien walked out of room, looking quite drowsy, and wanting to go to that machine humans used to waken more up. So far as Star knew, it was called coffee. Catching sight of Robin leading a strange boy someplace brought her interest, and so, instead of freshening up, the alien floated over so she was standing in front of Robin, and realized they must have made the noise which had woken her. The alien sighed as she thought of her bed, before speaking, Robin, who is this, and why are you leading him? Starfire never spoke properly when she was tired, she knew, so Star considered herself lucky those words worked out pretty well. The alien moved forward, and her tired green eyes looked this boy over curiously, before she poked him, examining this odd sort of human. Robin, are there others who wear clothing like these? It seems like fun to do. Wow, now she really couldn't make sense of herself, but this boy's clothing fascinated her as well, perhaps because Starfire had always seen more of Teen Titan people, and normal ones, but she figured this boy was a different sort of normal perhaps. The alien waited, perhaps not patiently, because she swiftly flew over and grabbed herself a cup of coffee, and then came back, waiting for an answer from the guy she had used to like very much. As the alien waited, she took a sip of the coffee, and felt much more relieved and more energized.

Raven was struggling to hold back a grin. Robin dressing upa kid... Priceless. She wish she had a camera with her to record the look on his face... This wasn't something she'd soon forget. And, of course, it was wonderful teasing material. Lately, she needed it - she seemed to be finding less and less things to tease him over. A bit depressing, actually.
As for his silent revenge threat... Well, she wasn't worried. If he tried anything, she'd simply get him back. That was how it worked, wasn't it? You smite me, I'll smite you. A lovely chain of totally optimistic events. And besides, it wasn't her fault that a kid had started hissing at her in the park. She couldn't be held responsible.
Well, yes, she could. But still. She didn't actually mind it - it made for a rather... amusing environment.

Mowgli growled at the girl when she poked him. He did not like to be touched.
He then watched her as she flew to the place that they had just come from and return with a cylindrical object with a handle. This was indeed a strange place to Mowgli.
He stared at the strange, orange girl who had poked him with curiosity. He had never seen anyone that looked like her before. He had seen people with white skin, brown skin and tanned skin, but never orange skin. So, of course, this was rather interesting to him.

Girls were so unbelievably mean.
As the doors slid shut with a hiss behind them, Robin started to guide Mowgli towards the nearest bathroom - only to be stopped by Starfire.
Oh, he really did not feel like trying to explain at all. "Uh, this is Mowgli," Robin explained. "It's kind of a long story. I've got to help him with something, Terra and Raven will explain - they're in the living room." Of course, Raven would probably give Starfire the cruelest explanation she could think of... but really, Robin just wanted to get this over with. He really wasn't that good with kids.
Briefly, he wondered if it would be too mean to Starfire to exact his vengeance on Raven by convincing their alien friend to go and give her a really big hug.
"Come on, Mowgli," Robin said, motioning again for the boy to follow him. When they had privacy from the rest of the team, the dark-haired Titan set the clothes down on the floor, drawing a shirt from the pile and holding it out to Mowgli. "Shirt," Robin explained, repeating the word for emphasis: "Shirt." He pulled at the fabric of his own shirt before motioning how to put the article of clothing on. As stupid as he felt, Robin figured that Mowgli would probably understand better with actions than trying to explain it in English.

Mowgli looked at Robin, then at the shirt he held in his hands, then back at Robin.
He thought he understood what Robin wanted him to do, but he didn't know why.
"Why Mowgli shirt?" he asked, meaning 'Why do I have to put this on?'.

Starfire watched with interest as Robin told the boy's name, and mentioned it was a 'long story', which annoyed Starfire. Whenever there were 'long stories', they usually weren't as long as they appeared. I'd like to hear this long story of yours. Starfire spoke to Robin's back, her eyebrows raised as she glanced at Raven. Then the red-haired alien grinned, for once glad that Raven was embarrasing Robin in that way. For, Starfire was enjoying the playful teasing she was beginning to learn, and figured Robin probably deserved it, if Raven was making him do it. The alien watched as Robin walked into the bathroom, leading the boy Mowgli inside, and then turned to Raven. Is there a reason why you try to hide your smile? It's rare that I get a chance to see it, and it makes you look very....oh, what is that human term.... Starfire stopped for a moment, trying to think of the word that humans used to describe it, having forgotten since her stay at Tamaran. Ah yes. Beautiful. Starfire spoke and nodded, sipping a bit more of her coffee, while wondering how Robin was doing with Mowgli.

Raven turned to Starfire, her eyes lighting up in surprise. Hiding her smile? Starfire had notice? The alien princess must have become more perceptive while she was away - Raven was positive that she never would have noticed it before. It was not an unpleasant surprise, however. Perhaps, now, it would be easier to tolerate her for longer periods of time. Raven didn't consider herself a bad friend, but there was still some guilt, carefully tucked away inside her, about how she'd so often lost her patience with her. She'd done her damndest, of course, to make sure that Starfire didn't know - she wasn't that mean - but still.
Beautiful. She momentarily froze. When was the last time she and the word beautiful had been in the same sentence together? Quite possibly never... With the except of Malchoir, but the very thought of him put a bitter taste in the back of her mouth. That, she was certain, did not count. For the first time in a very, very long while, she seriously felt her eyes began to sting. Leave it to innocent Starfire to be able to put her nearly into tears, just with a random act of kindness. She fought back teh wave of emotion to ensure that no one else would see it; it simply would not do for Raven to be seen crying.
"Thank you, Starfire," she said softly, struggling to keep her voice normal. She was positive that she'd never done anything to deserve such a good friend, and perhaps that made it all the sweeter. Raven knew that she'd probably never look in the mirror and think of the same word Starfire had used - just as well as she knew that she'd probably never hear it again - but, for the moment, that didn't matter. Beauty was not one of her top priorities, but let's face it: she was still female.
